1960 – 2020
Esteemed colleague and valued friend, Patrick McNamara unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Patrick was a senior attorney at Porter Law Group and a recognized expert in the field of construction law. His contributions to the construction industry are indelible. For more than 20 years, he served as a professor of Construction Law at California State University, Sacramento, and was an author of numerous articles. A graduate of Auburn University and McGeorge School of Law, Patrick also served on the Board of Directors of the Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange.
Always a fountain of sage advice and witty humor, Patrick made the practice of law at our firm a pleasure. He will be sadly missed by all.
Patrick recently celebrated his 60th birthday and is survived by his son, Danny. Remembrances are currently being planned. Condolences may be sent to our office and they will be forwarded to his son.
